Our story
Our curtains range began with a simple idea: every space deserves curtains made for it, not adjusting to it. We cut, sew and finish each order to your exact measurements — so it hangs like it was always meant to be there, with real human help from first measurement to final hang.
Standard curtains are built to a handful of preset sizes, so most windows get the closest match rather than the right one — fabric pooling on one side, a gap on the other, and wrinkles where the drop is wrong. Made-to-measure removes the compromise: you give us the width and the drop, and we cut and sew to those numbers.
Panels are made 50" wide as standard, so wide windows and patio doors are covered by adding panels rather than stretching one. Every order is finished in our own workroom and shipped free in about three weeks.
Light control is the decision that matters most, and it's what our collections are built around. Blackout curtains give near-total darkness for bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms. Sheer curtains filter daylight while keeping daytime privacy. Velvet adds weight and depth of colour, and textured weaves sit between the two.
From there it's about the room: living room and bedroom panels usually run floor-length, while kitchen and cafe curtains take shorter drops and easy-clean weaves. Door curtains cover patio and sliding-door widths, and pinch pleat gives the tailored, hotel-style fold.
Outdoor panels are cut from Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic, where the colour is locked into the fibre during manufacturing rather than printed on the surface. That's what makes it resistant to fading, mould, mildew and stains, and it carries a 5-year warranty against fading. Expect roughly 5–7 years of life with reasonable care, against 1–3 years for budget outdoor fabrics.
Ready-made locks you into preset sizes and a limited fabric range, then leaves you to hem, clip or live with the gap. Custom fits the first time and keeps fitting — same measurements, same fabric, whether you order one panel now or the rest of the house next year. If the fit is off, the Perfect-Fit Warranty covers a remake.
