It would, except for the stain-resistant treatment, which is the key protection on a white fabric. Most everyday spills (water, juice, light food) bead at the surface and can be blotted off before any mark appears. The treatment is particularly important for a white where any absorbed liquid would leave a visible ring. For substantial spills - red wine, coffee, dark sauces - immediate blotting still matters, but a 40°C wash on a gentle cycle typically restores the fabric to its original appearance. White is harder to maintain than darker colors, but it's not impractical with this fabric.
