A square/rectangle seat pad is usually thinner and made from hard materials like vinyl or woven, where the main focus is to protect the seat instead of comfort. Whereas rectangle/square window seat cushions are usually thicker and crafted from soft, pliable materials such as foam that focuses on delivering comfort and shape retention.
