Description

Ash Graphic is a heavyweight woven curtain at 261 GSM — the highest GSM in the Timeless Textures collection. The bold geometric weave pattern and Ash grey colourway make this one of the most structurally present fabrics in the range. Martindale tested to 14,000. Easy Clean. Machine washable at 40°C.

Ash is a neutral grey — not cool, not warm, simply settled. It works with timber floors, white walls, dark sofas, and natural upholstery. In the Graphic weave a bold geometric structure that gives the fabric a strong visual voice without leaning on colour to do it. The pattern is the point.

At 261 GSM, Graphic is the heaviest fabric in the Timeless Textures collection. That weight comes through in the hang — full, clean, with a physical presence that lighter fabrics don't deliver. For tall windows, bay windows, and any opening where the curtain needs to command the space, that weight is the right choice.

The Martindale rub test result is 14,000 — the weave holds up under friction, including the repeated pulling and pushing of daily use. The geometric pattern doesn't thin or flatten at contact points. Combined with Easy Clean and machine washability at 40°C, Ash Graphic is built for rooms that get lived in.

Custom-made to your exact drop and width. Heading options: Grommet, Tab Top, Rod Pocket, Sleeve Top.

FAQs

1. Why does Graphic Weave have a Martindale rating when Concert and Dreamscape don't?

At 261 GSM, Graphic Weave is a heavier, more densely woven fabric — the kind used in upholstery-grade applications where abrasion testing is standard practice. Concert and Dreamscape are lighter curtain-weight fabrics where Martindale is less relevant. The 14,000 rating for Graphic Weave tells you the geometric weave structure resists wear at contact points — the leading edge of the panel and anywhere hands regularly pull the curtain.

2. Is 261 GSM too heavy for my curtain rod — will it bend or sag?

Most standard curtain rods rated for a 140 cm panel width handle 261 GSM without issue. The weight per linear metre is significant but not exceptional. If you're using a lightweight or decorative rod over a wide span (above 200 cm), check the rod's weight rating. For tracks, any standard curtain track with appropriate glider spacing will carry 261 GSM panels easily.

3. The pattern repeat is 23.3 × 28.8 cm — will the geometric pattern align between two panels hung side by side?

Panels in the same order are pattern-matched so the geometric repeat continues consistently across adjacent panels. When hung side by side with minimal gap, the Graphic pattern reads as one continuous repeat. This is managed in production as part of the custom order.

4. I have a bold geometric rug — will Ash Graphic Weave create too much pattern competition?

It can. Two large geometric patterns in the same room typically need one to be dominant and one to recede. Ash grey is neutral enough that the curtain tends to recede relative to a coloured rug, but if your rug's geometric pattern is also grey-toned and large-scale, the two may fight. In that case, consider the Ash Concert (smaller, subtler texture) as the window treatment instead.

5. Can I use Ash Graphic Weave in a room that has young children who will constantly grab and pull the curtains?

Yes — this is probably the best curtain in the Timeless Textures range for that scenario. The Martindale 14,000 rating means the weave holds under repeated friction. The Easy Clean finish handles sticky marks and spills. Machine washable at 40°C. The geometric pattern hides texture-based marks better than a plain fabric would. It's genuinely built for daily contact.
